Is everybody ready to get things looking good again? Spending quality time outside? Perhaps even …entertaining? We don’t know about you, but we’re always happiest when we are spending time outdoors and using artificial turf to spruce things up or make some changes to your space is a good way to keep things fresh – even fun! Here are some ways you can take advantage of artificial turf for your outside areas.
How about some patio landscaping?
The great thing about patio landscaping is that you can work with whatever you have to make a more inviting area for you and your guests. If you already have a patio area, look at ways you can integrate some artificial turf to keep the space always looking green and clean and well-kept. Your patio doesn’t have to come out into your yard after all.
If you don’t have a proper outdoor ground-level patio, what about a small private area off of a living room or bedroom? Some artificial landscaping, an area for a few nice gravity chairs, a private bamboo wall and some potted plants will provide you with a secret oasis to relax in and call your own. If you really want a nice private outdoorsy space, try doing the same thing on a private balcony or rooftop!
Build a backyard Bocce court!
While a full-sized court might run a little large for a lot of us, a backyard bocce court can really be any size you want it to be, in addition to be being something a little different in your backyard, it promises a lot of fun with friends and family in the nice weather and, with artificial turf, maintenance is a breeze.
Make a private play area for the kids
If you are like us, you feel a lot better when you know where your kids are. A private play area within your own larger yard gives you an opportunity to plan out a special place for them. Swings, slides, play mounds can easily be use with artificial turf which won’t fade, flood or get the kids all dirty when they roll around. There are no surprise rocks and twigs to land on if somebody takes a tumble. Of course, the only drawback it that you might now know where everybody’s kids are!
Surround that pool!
We all know what hot pavement feels like – not so nice. Above ground pools with their wooden or plastic decks don’t feel much better when you are hopping around without shoes. Why not put some artificial turf around the pool? Not only will it look a lot nicer, it will make a more comfortable place to hang out and feel much better on your feet when entering or exiting the pool.
